| SCARPA have really made good again with the Instinct last which comes in two versions , the lace up Instinct and the slipper Instinct S. The Instinct S has got to be the best shoe I have used hands down! The feel and performance of these shoes reflects the world class design by Heinz Mariacher and the quality SCARPA manufacturing by hand in Italy. |
| The Instinct S upper is made of Lorica for a glove like fit and avoids the 'bagging out' effect that often happens to elasticated slippers. The sensitivity is second none thanks to a wafer thin 3mm Vibram XS Grip 2 sole. This also adds to the prehensile or 'grabbing' ability of this shoe on steep ground , which I found great. They hold a micro edge like pit bull and smear like F1 tyres. |
